Reservation and Cancellation Policy:
As an intimate property, cancellations affect us greatly and also inhibit others from reserving their desired dates. We therefore have the following cancellation and change policy:
Upon reservation a one nights deposit, or 50% of your stay (whichever is greater), is required by credit card. We require cancellation/change 15 days in advance of your check-in date and impose a $50 fee per room for any alterations to the reservation once confirmed. Cancellations within 15 days are subject to forfeiture of the deposit or 50% of the voucher amount. Cancellations three days or less of the arrival date, or during the stay, are subject to forfeiture of the full amount of the stay less any nights we are not able to fill. Rooms we are able to fill will result in a Future Stay Credit in that exact amount good for one year towards a similar stay, less the $50 cancellation fee. Holiday and special event periods require a 60 day advance cancellation with the above parameters in effect. Some holidays and Dartmouth Graduation require a three night stay. Dartmouth Graduation reservations must be cancelled by January 5th of the year of graduation with a $50 cancellation per room and payment in full will be taken on that date.
For any group booking, wedding or event all rooms are non-cancellable and must be paid six months in advance of date. Should there be a need to cancel the booking party is responsible for the rooms although we will make every effort to re-book the rooms to other guests. Their will be a $50 cancellation for each room re-rented although the balance will be refunded. Group room reservations made in peak seasons (Dartmouth graduation, weddings, fall foliage [September 21 through October 21], Christmas week and New Year's) are due and payable upon reservation.
Guests traveling with a well behaved dog will pay a $30 per night (maximum $90) fee to cover the additional housekeeping needs and agree to be responsible for any physical damage the dog may create. Only certain rooms are pet friendly so please inquire at time of reservation.
